Reasons the product is recalled
Under certain circumstances, when using the tool or fitting a wheel and tightening the flange nut, the spindle onto which the nut is screwed, can break.

Component failure.

Cease using this product immediately and contact Makita on 1300 361 690 between 8.00am and 6.00pm weekdays to arrange for replacement of the spindle by the nearest Makita Service Agent at no charge.
