Reason the product is recalled
The tapering of the inside bottom of the chair legs has sharp edges.
The hazards to consumers
Risk of laceration and entrapment injuries if toes or fingers are caught in the inside bottom of the chair legs.
This defect has occurred and caused injuries.
What consumers should do
Stop using the chairs immediately and contact Kmart for a free plug insert kit. Once the plugs are in place, consumers can continue to use the chairs. Alternatively, return the chair to any Kmart store for a full refund.
