The Kid's Resort Chair with Drink Holder is finished in bright blue fabric with black trim, black aluminium frame and comes in a matching carry bag. The Chairs have been available for purchase at Mitre 10, Mitre 10 Handy, Mitre 10 Solutions.
Why the product is recalled
The chair does not comply with the Trade Standards Regulations 2000 in South Australia. The folding mechanism does not have sufficient clearance and may pose an entrapment risk to small fingers when opening or closing the chair.
What the hazards are to consumers
Finger entrapment.
What consumers should do
Use of chair should be discontinued immediately, and if purchased from any Mitre 10 or True Value Hardware store the chair should be returned for a full refund. Pleae direct any queries to Mitre 10 customer service on 1300 306 100.
