The throttle limiting adjustment screw may be improperly adjusted, which may cause the throttle to become stuck open and cause the vehicle to accelerate without throttle input.

There is a risk of serious injury or death if the rider loses control of the vehicle or is unable to stop the vehicle due to a jammed throttle.
