Reason the product is recalled
A functioning, thumb operated supplemental engine stop has not been installed on the handlebar as required under Consumer Protection Notice No. 24 of 2011.
The hazards to consumers
In an emergency the engine cannot be stopped quickly, increasing the risk of injury to the rider.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the motorbike and contact TDRMoto (Monsterpro) on 03 9731 6391 or email info@monsterpro.com.au to arrange for a kit with instructions to be posted. Alternatively, consumers can arrange for the kit to be installed by TDRMoto (Monsterpro) at their workshop.
