Reasons the product is recalled

The zip on the product does not have a child-resistant slide fastener, and the product does not have the required warning label.

The hazards to consumers

In contravention of the mandatory safety standard for bean bags, the product is not fitted with a child-resistant slide fastener, or the required warning label and may therefore provide access to the beads, which pose a potential choking hazard to young children.
