Reasons the product is recalled
The product does not comply with mandatory standard (AS/NZS ISO 8124.1, as amended by the regulation for projectile toys), as it does not have a ring on the perimeter of the rotor to reduce the risk of injury.
The hazards to consumers
The perimeter of the blades does not have a protective ring in order to reduce the risk of injuries to the eye.
What consumers should do
Cease using the product immediately. A letter has been sent to affected consumers whereby a full refund is being offered.
