Reason the product is recalled
The extension clamp bolt holding the Aerobar in place may loosen, resulting in potential fatigue and/or fracture of the bolt.
The hazards to consumers
If the extension clamp bolt breaks from fatigue the rider can lose control and fall, which may pose an injury hazard to the rider.
What consumers should do
Consumer should stop using the Aerobars. An approved solution is being finalised and parts will be available shortly. For further information consumers can contact infoau@specialized.com
