Curved lever handles with the letter ā€œCā€ or a date code on the back of the handle are in specification and NOT involved in this recall.

Reason the product is recalled

The quick release levers are out of specification and results in reduced clamping force when used.

The hazards to consumers

If the clamping force fails when breaking this could result in an accident and cause injury to the rider or other road user.

What consumers should do

Consumers are advised to stop using these quick release skewers and obtain replacements under the normal SRAM warranty process and contact their nearest store.
