Reason the product is recalled
Nantucket cot did not meet the requirements of the Australian standard, AS/NZS 2172:2003, Cots for household use. The distance between adjacent filler bars and filler panels is less than the required 50mm gap on the left and right hand side.
The hazards to consumers
Children’s limbs may get caught between the bars of the cot on the left or right hand side.
What consumers should do
Customers are asked to either:
- return the product to a Toys “R” Us or Babies “R” Us store for a full refund; or
- contact Toys “R” Us and arrange for a full refund and free collection of the product (details below).
