The products were sold without the warning information that is required for products containing button/coin batteries. The balls have no warning label.
The hazards to consumers
Consumers may be unaware that the products contain a button battery.
There is a risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death to young children if they gain access to the button batteries and ingest them.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately place the balls out of reach of children and contact Gramercy Pet Australia PTY LTD to arrange for a compliant warning label to be sent out.
