What are the defects?
The timber legs supporting the dining table may split where they join the support bar that runs horizontally under the table top, possibly causing the table to collapse.
What are the hazards?
If the table collapses there is a risk of injury.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should not apply any heavy force on the table top. Consumers should contact Nick Scali to arrange for installation of a supporting brace on the timber legs on the dining table, at no charge. Consumers may also discuss alternative remedies, such as a refund or replacement table, with Nick Scali.
