What are the defects?

The microphone presents a potential low-voltage electric shock or burn hazard.

What are the hazards?

Electric current may be conducted through water or moisture from exposed speaker wiring to the user (coxswain) and cause a low-voltage electric shock or burn from contact with the metal boom of the microphone.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should cease using the product immediately and return it to to Neielsen Kellerman Australia for a free upgraded replacement.
