The product does not comply with the performance or labelling requirements of the mandatory standard 'Consumer Goods (Vehicle Support Stands) Safety Standard 2017' or 'Consumer Protection Notice No. 12 of 2008'.
What are the hazards?
Insufficient labelling and lack of stability may lead to a vehicle collapsing on a consumer, causing severe injury or even death.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should cease use of the product immediately. Products can be returned to North South Importers for a full refund. Return shipping labels will be provided at no cost.
