Product contains undeclared substances sibutramine and phenolphthalein.
The hazards to consumers
Use may be harmful. Sibutramine and phenolphthalein are prescription-only substances in Australia. Sibutramine was withdrawn from world markets in 2010 due to increased risk of cardiac events and stroke. Phenolphthalein was withdrawn from sale in many markets in the late 1990s due to concern over its carcinogenicity with long term use.
