Replacement windscreen clips for Renault Megane Cabriolet V2 vehicles manufactured between October 2003 and December 2010
Reasons the product is recalled
The hazard relates to the outer trims on both sides of the windscreen. Renault has advised that if the clips were re-used during a windscreen replacement, there is a risk of the outer trim becoming detached from the car body when driving at high speed.
The hazards to consumers
If the trim becomes detached whilst driving at high speed, it may distract the driver and cause a hazard. It may also become completely detached or swing back and break the glass roof and/or rear window.
