Reason the product is recalled
The sanding pads on some B05000 and B05001 Sanders may come apart during use and, should this occur, it is possible that fragments could come into contact with the user or bystander creating a hazard.
What consumers should do
Owners should cease using these models immediately and contact Makita (Australia) Pty Ltd on 1300 361 690 between 8.00am and 6.00pm EST to arrange replacement of the sanding pad by their nearest Makita Service Agent at no charge.
