Products included in this recall are as follows: 1/4 Tonne Pacific Chain Block, 1/2 Tonne Pacific and JBS Chain Block, 1 Tonne Pacific and JBS Chain Block, 2 Tonne Pacific and JBS Chain Block, 3 Tonne Pacific Chain Block, 5 Tonne Pacific Chain Block.
What are the defects?
Non-compliance to Australian Standard 1418.2. Under abnormal/misuse conditions, where excessive force is applied to the hand chain whilst the load chain is at its end limit, can lead to distortion of the anchor pin holding the load chain.
What are the hazards?
Personal injury.
