Why the product is recalled
The thread sleeve that the backrest knob screws into can become loose if over tightened, this could cause the backrest to come off.
What the hazards are to consumers
If the backrest comes off while someone is sitting on the Rollator they could fall backwards, resulting in an injury.
What consumers should do
Stop using the product immediately. Contact your supplier of the Ellipse Heavy Duty Bariatric Rollator to arrange for replacement of the backrest.
