PVC hot water bottle sold with an accompanying cotton cover
Reasons the product is recalled
There may be a small hole in the seam close to the neck of the water bottle. The hot water bottle does not comply with the Trade Practices (Consumer Product Safety Standard) (Hot Water Bottles) Regulations 2008.
The hazards to consumers
Hot water may leak from the hot water bottle, causing serious burns to the user.
What consumers should do
Consumers are asked to immediately stop using the hot wate bottle and return it to Peter Alexander for a full refund.
