What are the defects?
The wax in the candle has ignited in some cases and caused a fire and safety hazard. The ignition of the wax has also led to the glass container fracturing or shattering.
What are the hazards?
The defect poses a risk of injury and creates a fire hazard. The defect has caused injuries to consumers.
What should consumers do?
Customers should immediately stop using the candle and return the candle to their nearest Peter Alexander store for a full refund.
