Why the product is recalled
Some vehicles may have been assembled using incorrect front brake caliper mounting bolts.
What the hazards are to consumers
If a vehicle was assembled with the incorrect bolts, the caliper could detach from the vehicle, leading to an immediate loss of front brake function and over time degradation of rear brake function, posing an accident hazard.
What consumers should do
Owners will be contacted by mail. Affected consumers should contact their local Polaris dealer to arrange an appointment and repair of the vehicle.
