Reasons the product is recalled
The brake master cylinder may have been contaminated during the manufacturing process, which may cause the front brake seal to swell. A swollen seal may cause an unintended brake drag.
The hazards to consumers
An unintended brake drag may result in a potential fire or burn hazard.
What consumers should do
Known owners will be contacted by mail and will be advised to contact their nearest Polaris dealer to arrange an inspection and repair, at no cost. Polaris advises owner to not operate the vehicle until it has been inspected and repaired.
