Reason the product is recalled
Some connectors may have been incorrectly wired. The black negative wire has been wired to the positive (+) socket. The red positive wire has been wired to the negative (-) socket.
The hazards to consumers
If a consumer uses this product, it may cause a short circuit and increase the risk of a fire leading to serious injury or death.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and check that the correct cables are wired to the correct terminals.
Correct wiring: The red wire is connected to the (+) socket terminal and the black wire is connected to the (-) socket terminal.
If you are unsure, please return the product to your nearest place of purchase (Autobarn or Autopro store) at which point consumers may elect to either obtain a full refund, or replacement product.
