Waste disposal unit model numbers TP-50, TP-75 and TP-125 with manufacturing dates MAR 15 to SEP15 inclusive (as shown in the attached label photograph)
Reasons the product is recalled
A manufacturing defect in the cutting blades may cause the cutting blades to break while being used.
The hazards to consumers
A broken cutting blade could exit out the top of the unit and may pose a laceration hazard.
What consumers should do
PRK&WS have contacted consumers where their details were available. Consumers who did not receive an email or a text message, should contact PRK&WS by phone on 03 9700 9100 or via email at service@prks.com.au to organise a service call for a replacement product to be installed and cease usage of the product.
