Two different versions consisting of a circular charging plate and a USB cable

Version 1 - Circular black charger with white AGL logo, which has some air vents at the bottom, this version has no LED ring around the edge.

Version 2 - Circular black charger with white AGL logo, which has an LED ring around the edge that lights up when powered, this version has no air vents at the bottom.

Two models of the charger were distributed to guests who attended Melbourne Victory promotional events, organised by MAX Events, as follows:

Victory in Business events 10 October 2018 and 17 May 2019

Chairman's Function on 1 December 2018

The product may overheat when charging causing localised heat damage to the area surrounding the product.

Potential fire risk.

What consumers should do

Consumers should immediately unplug the charger and discontinue use.

Contact AGL at https://www.agl.com.au/phonechargerrecall2019 to register contact information. AGL will then supply a reply-paid satchel to facilitate the return of the charger and USB cable.

Return both the charger and USB cable to AGL using the supplied satchel. Following receipt of the charger and USB cable, AGL will send a $20 EFTPOS gift card.
