Reason the product is recalled
There is a possibility that when the PTO switch is left in the ON position and the operator engages the park brake that the engine will keep running and the PTO will disengage.
The hazards to consumers
Brake failure.
What consumers should do
Contact your John Deere Dealer to make arrangements for scheduling this work at no cost to owner. John Deere will provide transportation of the machine if necessary. In the meantime, please remember to disengage PTO switch (yellow) whenever you dismount.
