Where the installation has not been carried out in accordance with the product manual, using dedicated wiring from a single battery supply, there is potential at any time for no trailer brake output indicated by a flashing yellow/red warning lamp.

When towing, the braking distance of the tow vehicle and trailer may be increased and that could lead to a risk of a car accident.

Affected consumers should contact REDARC Electronics by calling 1800 733 272 or 08 8322 4848 (Monday to Friday, 8am - 5:30pm (ACDST)), or by email service@redarc.com.au to find the details of their nearest REDARC dealer/installer to change over the main control unit of the TowPro Elite V2 electric trailer brake controller, free of charge.
If the TowPro Elite V2 electric trailer brake controller is not installed on a vehicle, the consumer should contact REDARC to arrange a free replacement.
