Type 3 models as follows:
all batch numbers of styles 35332M, 36332M, W8332M, W9332M, W0332M, W9330M, W0330M; and
batches 1166 and 1178 only of style W1332M (note that batches 1200 and 1212 of style W1332M are not subject to recall).

This product is a PFD Type 3 which is designed for use in supervised situations where the wearer risks short term immersion in sheltered waters during daylight hours. It is intended for use in water sports or as clothing for special situations where assistance is immediately at hand.

Reasons the product is recalled

These products have been found to fail mandatory performance tests included in AS2260-1996 in that they have a tendency to cause the wearer to tip forward. When used in accordance with the intended use (ie in supervised situations where assistance is immediately at hand the risk is minimal, However, extended exposure in particular if the wearer is or becomes unconscious, could involve a risk of the wearer drowning.
