Reason the product is recalled
Product labelling is non-compliant with the mandatory standard Consumer Goods (Bean Bags) Safety Standard 2014.
The hazards to consumers
The missing labels warn consumers that children can suffocate if bean bag filling is swallowed or inhaled, not to let children climb inside the bean bag and that a bean bag is not a safe sleeping surface for an infant under 12 months of age.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop using the affected beanbags and return them to any IKEA store or pick up point with proof of purchase, to obtain a full refund.
