Babymoove Bébédélice Orange Blender Lid. The product was sold in Australia in baby stores, at online retailers and Target. This recall was extended on 2 June 2009 to include all blender lids sold in the past two years.
Why the product is recalled
The Bébédelice has a blender bowl/container with an orange plastic lid with blade. In the rim of the lid is a rubber seal that prevents liquid leaking out during blending. Reports have been received of this seal breaking and causing the blender to leak and on one occasion the seal was chopped up and mixed in the food.
What the hazards are to consumers
Injury (choking).
What consumers should do
Contact Rose and Lily Pty Ltd on 1300 119 837 to arrange for a newly improved replacement blender lid to be supplied at no cost. Always check the blender seal is intact before and after blending. If the seal is broken before use, do not use the blender. If the seal is broken after blending, discard the prepared food to avoid contamination.
