Reason the product is recalled
2014-2018 RZR XP 1000 / XP4 1000 models have been manufactured with heat shields that do not meet Polaris quality standards.
The hazards to consumers
The cab or cargo box may overheat which may pose a fire and/or burn hazard.
What consumers should do
Polaris will write and notify all affected consumers of the required action and consumers are asked to contact their Authorised Polaris Dealer to make arrangements for their vehicle to be repaired.
Consumers should stop using their vehicle until the repair has been performed.
