Reason the product is recalled
The plastic seal connecting the inflator/dump valve to the vest can become brittle and detach.
The hazards to consumers
The defect poses a drowning hazard if the failure occurs while underwater as the vest may fill with water and act as an anchor.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the Saekodive buoyancy compensator and dispose of it as it may not be safe to use.
