Reason the product is recalled
The Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) retaining bolts may have been over torqued and stretched, which could cause the bolts to break.
The hazards to consumers
If a ROPS retaining bolt is not properly torqued or breaks, the ROPS may not maintain the operator zone of protection during a rollover. This may pose an injury risk to the user.
What consumers should do
Affected owners will be contacted directly. Owners should stop using the tractors and contact their nearest authorised John Deere dealer to arrange a free repair.
