Reason the product is recalled
A software error in the service and repair tool may have altered the specifications for sound amplification, presenting a risk to the user's residual hearing.
The hazards to consumers
Longer exposure to mid to high level sound environment could temporarily or permanently affect or damage the user's residual hearing.
What consumers should do
GN Hearing will contact affected users in writing. Consumers should immediately cease use of the affected products and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
