What are the defects?
First generation 88 hub retaining rings may fail and this can result in ejection of all the wheel's spokes and subsequent wheel failure.
What are the hazards?
If the defect occurs, the rider may lose control of the bicycle potentially resulting in a serious fall injury.
What should consumers do?
• If your front hub is involved in this recall, please stop riding your bicycle immediately until you have received a replacement front hub.
• If you are unsure that your Front Zipp hub is involved, please visit your dealer to confirm before riding.
