Reason the product is recalled

The product does not comply with the mandatory safety standard for products containing button/coin batteries.

The toy watch that comes with the drink does not have a secure button battery compartment that is resistant to being opened by children.

The hazards to consumers

If swallowed, a button/coin battery can become stuck in a child's throat and result in catastrophic injuries or death. Inserting button batteries into ears or noses can also lead to significant injuries.

Button batteries also pose a choking hazard to young children.

What consumers should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and keep it out of reach of children. Contact Steel City Beverage Company for a replacement or refund.
