Product description
The high pressure hose is sports/hobby equipment used for diving. The hose connects to a Suunto dive computer and/or pressure gauge. The hoses may also have been sold independently as a stand-alone hose.
The affected hoses are:
- made of black rubber;
- marked with the manufacturing batch code "1812";
- marked with text "5000 PSIG PRESSURE TESTED - MADE IN USA"; and
- approximately 12.5mm in diameter and approximately 84cm in length.
An image of the affected hose and the affected product codes are attached. Other high pressure rubber hoses are not affected.

Reason the product is recalled
The affected hoses have been identified to have defective hose material, which may impact the durability of the hose. This can cause the hose to leak or rupture.
The hazards to consumers
The defect can lead to loss of breathing gas at higher than anticipated rates, which may result in severe injury or death.
What consumers should do
