The products contravene the permanent ban on baby dummies with unsafe decorations, Consumer Protection Notice No.33 of 2011. The embellishments on the dummies may liberate small parts.
The hazards to consumers
If the crystals detach from the product they may become a choking, inhalation or ingestion hazard, possibly causing death, illness or injury to the baby.
What consumers should do
