Reason the product is recalled
Under certain conditions, corrosion may build up in the throttle pedal pivot and cause friction, resulting in the throttle pedal sticking and not returning to the closed position.
The hazards to consumers
A throttle pedal that does not return to the closed position could result in loss of vehicle control and present a danger to the operator and/or bystanders.
What consumers should do
Consumers should make an appointment with their nearest Authorised Honda Dealer and arrange to have their unit inspected and, if necessary, repaired free of charge.
