Reason the product is recalled

The child resistant cap on the product may not close properly as the cap thread and bottle neck thread may not align correctly, preventing the cap from tightening.

The hazards to consumers

If the cap does not tighten, children may gain access to the product and the product may leak.

The product may be harmful and cause illness if swallowed or inhaled. If swallowed, vomiting should not be induced. The product can also cause mild skin irritation and serious eye irritation.

What consumers should do

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the product. Consumers should contact ITW Australia to arrange for the product to be collected, and for a store credit or refund to be provided.

Consumers are advised to place the affected product in a securely fastened plastic bag and then place in a secondary container and store in a safe place until collection can be arranged. When handling the product, consumers should wear gloves and eye protection. Consumers should thoroughly wash their hands after handling the product, even if there is no obvious sign of leakage.
