Reason the product is recalled
The products contain concentrations of carbamide peroxide in excess of the recognised safe limit of 18% w/w, as set by the Poisons Standard 2011, expert clinical advice, and published scientific risk assessments.
The hazards to consumers
Users of the goods may suffer irritation or inflammation to the gums and mouth due to the high concentration of carbamide peroxide they contain.
What consumers should do
