What are the defects?
The safety toe caps in these products may not meet the AS/NZS 2210.3 impact test standard that requires 200 joules impact resistance for occupational protective footwear.
What are the hazards?
In the event that a person experiences a heavy item falling on the top of the boot, it may pose a crushing hazard to the toes.
What should consumers do?
Consumers should immediately cease using the boots and return them to their place of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price.
