The product does not comply with the requirements of the mandatory standard 'Consumer Goods (Trolley Jacks) Safety Standard 2017'.
The labels do not contain some of the required information. One batch 7074142018 does not comply with the overload capacity tests of the standard.

What are the hazards?
Incorrect use of the vehicle jack due to incorrect labelling or even with correct use may lead to a vehicle collapsing on a user, causing severe injury or even death.
What should consumers do?
Affected consumers should contact Total Tools toll-free on 1800 868 258 (Monday – Friday, 8am to 6pm AEST) or visit your local store to discuss options for remediation.
Owners of jacks from Batch 7074142018 will receive a full refund or have their jack replaced.
Owners of other batches of jacks will be provided with a new permanent label to be attached to the jack. Owners can apply the label themselves or return their jack to their nearest Total Tools store for the label to be applied on site.
