The dye used during the manufacture of these jeans may have contained hazardous azo-colourants.
What the hazards are to consumers
Expert authorities classify these azo-colourants as carcinogens and recommend that exposure be minimised. While this dye stuff is not banned for textiles use in Australia, in the interests of customer safety Trade Secret is recalling this style of jean.
What consumers should do
Customers who have purchased these styles from Trade Secret stores should not allow the jeans to be worn and can return the garment to any Trade Secret store for a full refund.
