What are the defects?
The shape of these lighters makes them appealing to children under the age of 5 years. Toy-like novelty lighters are banned for sale under Consumer Protection Notice No.18 of 2011.
What are the hazards?
Children may mistake these lighters for toys and suffer serious burns as a result.
What should consumers do?
