What are the defects?
The zip on the bag does not have a child-resistant slide fastener.
What are the hazards?
In contravention of the mandatory safety standard for bean bags, the bag is not fitted with a child-resistant slide fastener and may therefore allow access to the polystyrene beads, which pose a potential choking hazard to young children.
What should consumers do?
If you have the affected product, cease using it immediately and return it to the nearest Officeworks Store for a full refund.
