The charger may short circuit under sustained heavy charging.
The hazards to consumers
If the charger short circuits it may pose a fire and/or electrocution hazard. In addition, if the charger short circuits it will emit noxious fumes and may cause the charger and cord to be blackened.
What consumers should do
Cease using the product immediately. If you paid with credit card, please email PowerPod with the last four digits of your credit card. If you paid with cash, contact PowerPod in order to arrange for a refund.
