The phone case contains white spirit (turpentine). If the plastic phone case is cracked or broken the fluid contained in the case can leak out.
The hazards to consumers
In some individuals, contact with the fluid from the phone case may cause skin irritation (redness, soreness and rashes). Prolonged exposure can cause chemical burns.
What consumers should do
Consumers should cease using the Victoria's Secret glitter phone cases.
If the phone case fluid gets onto your skin, immediately wash with warm soapy water. If you experience skin irritation from the fluid, seek medical attention.
Consumers who purchased this product at a Victoria's Secret store can return it to any Victoria's Secret store for a full refund. Consumers who purchased their phone case online will be contacted by email and are asked to dispose of the case appropriately and contact Victoria's Secret for a full refund.
