Reasons the product is recalled
The blinds do not comply with the mandatory safety standard for the installation of corded internal window coverings.
The hazards to consumers
If the blinds are installed incorrectly the cord/bead chains can create a strangulation hazard to children.
What consumers should do
Consumers should contact Visionary Blinds to make arrangements for either:
a) Copies of the correct warning and installation labels to be sent to them for attachment to the blinds, or
b) A technician to come and re affix the warning and installation labels.
